Ray Farrell is a founding partner of Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt, LLP, an internationally recognized intellectual property law firm. He has over 25 years of extensive experience including: strategic patent and trademark portfolio development, and due diligence analyses for numerous acquisitions and follow on strategic assimilation of acquired IP.
He is on the U.S. Steering Committee for the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property; the vice-chair of the U.S. Bar-Japanese Patent Office Liaison Council; and on the Board of Directors of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association.
Ray has spoken before international and domestic audiences on various topics of intellectual property and is a contributor to Marks Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers, 11th Ed., McGraw Hill Professional: The Regulatory Environment: Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights. Ray is a Trustee at Molloy College and a Partner in The Energeia Partnership – Academy for Regional Stewardship.
